The Italian-born hairdresser was inspired to get the policy by “footballers and models,” who frequently insure the body parts that ensure their fame and work.
He was able to arrange it thanks to a friend and regular customer who works for the local insurance company Basler Versicherung and helped him set up the one-of-a-kind policy.
However, the stylist explained that he would only receive the full 750,000 Swiss francs payout if an injury or illness rendered him completely unable to perform his duties. “There are various levels,” he explained. “For instance, the little finger is far less important than the thumbs.”
Cianciarulo says his clients appreciate the fact that he takes his job seriously enough to protect his hands. “It demonstrates how much I enjoy my job!”
For the proprietors, the studio provided a chance for self-expression and to continually apply the most up-to-date trends and technology for their consumers. Despite the fact that the firm has only been in its current shape since 2019, the team has been working together since 2011, with the goal of providing distinctive and creative services in a friendly and inviting environment.
