Polo has been played for around 2.600 years, with origins in Ancient Persia, and it became popular in Switzerland in the 1880s. Ascona Polo Club was created in 2009, and its first event was held in 2010.

In the evocative backdrop of lovely Ascona, experience the intriguing sport of polo, complemented by interesting festivities, first-class catering, and a high-quality supporting program.
The following is a schedule for the 2022 Ascona Polo Cup:
The Ascona Polo Cup begins at 4 p.m. on September 2nd.
– 5 p.m.: Welcome aperitif and the organisers’ official opening address
– 8 p.m.-2 a.m.: Players’ party at a private venue, including a DJ set and a live performance, with a “all-in-white” dress code.
On September 3rd, at 11.30 a.m., there will be a horse parade through Ascona’s old town.
Dinner & Polo by Night, Polo qualifying games, a party tent with a DJ, and the “Ibiza Chic” dress code from 6.30pm to 2am
On September 4 at 10.30 a.m., the Ascona Polo Cup will be held. Brunch
Afternoon: Mediterranean meal and polo game finals
Evening: Charity raffle and formal closing ceremony The dress code is “Sunday Chic,” and there will be a hat competition!
